66 Foreign Nationals Awarded Degrees from MISIS

MISIS College of Mining held a graduation party.

Mining engineering students do a 5.5-year programme at National University of Science and Technology MISIS, so the traditional graduation party is held in February. In 2020, the graduates numbered 350, including 66 foreign nationals. Fifty-nine students came from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Mongolia. Seven are from Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Vietnam. Two international students graduated with honours. Student song and dance groups performed in the College of Mining assembly hall show after the degree ceremony.

Mining engineering is a sought-after MISIS major. The university has appeared in the top 50 in QS Rankings by Subject for Mining and Mineral Engineering for the past four years.
