Foreign nationals took an intensive Russian language course and learnt about Russian traditions.

The international school Russia - Far East has ended at Far Eastern Federal University. It is one of the most popular summer programmes for foreigners who are interested in Russia and the Russian language. In 2019, it gathered 58 students from China, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Germany, Spain, Finland and Switzerland who had Russian language and culture seminars as well as the optional modules Russian Foreign and Domestic Policy and Marketing, Innovations and Business. The international students toured Vladivostok, visited the Primorye Museum, the Vladivostok Fortress and Cape Tobizin and took part in traditional master classes in painting Matryoshka dolls and making pelmeni (meat dumplings).  

Far Eastern Federal University has many advantages. It offers a broad range of education programmes; some of them are taught in English. Tuition fees are not high ranging from 180,000 to 405,000 rubles a year ($2,769 - $6,230). The FEFU campus is one regarded one of the best in the world. It is located on the shore of the Pacific Ocean and has all amenities for study and recreation such modern residence halls, cafes, dining halls, shops, sport grounds and an oceanarium.
