Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an important document.

The excellent news is that the president has signed the document easing the international student employment regulations and that it will come into effect on 5 August 2020. If you are a full-time Russian university/college student on a degree programme, and are at least 18 years old, you can find a part-time or holiday job without excessive formalities. Employers no longer need to get a special permit for hiring international students. An important condition is that the university must have state accreditation. The labour contract is cancelled if students have completed or stopped their studies.

Previously, official employment permits for international students were issued by the Migration Service, however, they were not needed for jobs at the university or its organisations.
