Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU), a participant of the Priority 2030 development program, holds "Your first success - 2022", an international Olympiad for foreign citizens. The winners may have a free master's program in any Russian university within the Russian Government’s quota.

Tomsk Polytechnic University is a recognized international hub of top-quality engineering education. Today, more than 2,800 foreign students from 65 countries study at TPU. Among them are young people from China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Vietnam, Indonesia, Ghana, Nigeria, India and other countries.

TPU has created a multicultural environment for enjoyable and successful education of students from around the world. All of them are provided with places in the university’s comfortable dormitories. TPU has both advanced scientific and educational infrastructure, and one of the best campuses in the country, with sports and cultural facilities available to students.

The Olympiad “Your First Success” has been held at Tomsk Polytechnic University since 2015. Its target audience are graduates of foreign higher educational institutions who plan to continue their studies and have a master's program in a Russian university. This year, an important feature is that its winners will have the right to study within the Government’s quota. However, it is very important for the winners to have submitted their papers to TPU by April 4, 2022. Otherwise, their results will be cancelled,” says Alexander Denisevich, Executive Secretary of the TPU Central Admission Office.

The Olympiad is open until March 31, 2022. The winners will be named based on the results rating of the participants who have scored at least 70 points.

This activity is held online in three modules: engineering, natural sciences, and IT. To participate, you need to open the page(s) of the selected profile(s), register and solve the tasks.

Participants may pass one or two modules out of the three and choose one specialization of master's programs for each module. The examination time is 60 minutes per module.

You can find more information on the university’s website.
