Russian universities begin 2021 with new educational programmes in AI and robotics.
ITMO University has launched an updated and expanded Master's programme in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. It's based on their Robotics programme – the largest master's programme in this field in Russia, popular among both Russian and international applicants.
The new version includes two specializations: research for training scientists and corporate for training developers (with the support of the Robotics Center of Sberbank PJSC).
The study of machine learning and artificial intelligence methods under the new programme will allow graduates to solve urgent problems of modern robotics that cannot be calculated using formal analytical approaches: the behaviour interpretation when co-working with a human, action prediction and control. It will also help to optimize the stage of structural design and mechanics of future robots. The programme is suitable for both field experts and external specialists to obtain broad interdisciplinary knowledge for prospective professional development.
Another fascinating online master programme is Machine Learning and Data-Intensive Systems of the HSE University. Please note that enrollment for the programme ends on January 12, 2021, and the classes themselves start on March 1. This is a full-fledged master's programme, all units are held remotely, either in a synchronous or mixed format. The programme will allow you to study machine learning but also methods of its development.
