Russian Universities in QS Rankings 2019

British publisher Quacquarelli Symonds has surveyed business master’s programmes.

It is the second edition of QS Business Masters Rankings. In 2017, the study covered master’s in business analytics, finance and management; this year, it features a fourth subject – marketing. More than 430 master’s programmes were surveyed worldwide. Russia is represented by Higher School of Economics, St Petersburg State University and Ural Federal University. HSE master’s programmes were ranked in all four categories. The “Big Data Systems” programme was in the group 51+ in business analytics, “Financial Economics” was 66th in finance and “International Business” was 82nd in management. All the three programmes are taught in English. The Russian-medium programme “Marketing Communications and Advertising in the Contemporary Business” was in the 51+ group in marketing. Ural Federal University which appeared in QS Business Masters Rankings for the first time, was listed in the group 101+ for its programme “International Management” in the “Management” category. The programme is partially taught in English.
