Seven Russian universities ranked among the most international in the world

The British magazine Times Higher Education has published a selection of the most popular universities among international students, educators and academics based on THE World University Rankings 2021.

The table includes 172 universities from 33 countries. 7 Russian educational organizations from different regions of the country were recognized as the most international: Lomonosov Moscow State University and the National Research Tomsk State University (TSU) are leading, the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, MIPT, the National Research University Higher School of Economics, St. Petersburg State University and NSU took up worthy positions as well.

To compile this table was used the data from the World University Rankings 2021, including the number of international students and educators at each university, the proportion of publications co-authored with researchers from other countries and the international reputation of the universities.
