SibFU Representatives to Meet with Prospective Students in Kyrgyzstan

The event will take place in Bishkek on 7 and 8 February 2018; schoolchildren in 5-11 grades are welcome.

Siberian Federal University delegation will come to Kyrgyzstan’s capital to present the university to schoolchildren. The presentation includes an overview of SibFU education programmes, institutes and admission rules, vocational training sessions, master classes and lectures in different subjects such as ecology, geology and cryptography. 11th graders can join several preparatory courses in physics, maths, computer science and Russian. The four-hour courses are intended for interactive analysis of the most difficult examination problems.

During the visit to Bishkek, university staff plans to hold the Olympiad “Enter SibFU” in mathematics, Russian, computer science and physics for school leavers. Olympiad winners entering SibFU are entitled to three to five extra points. The education festival opens at I.V.Panfilov gymnasium school No 6 located at 20 Erkindik Bulvar at 9:00 on 7 February; the Olympiad starts at 9:30 on 8 February. No preliminary registration is required.

Siberian Federal University is located in the city of Krasnoyarsk beyond the Ural Mountains. It currently provides training to 35,000 students from Russian regions and foreign countries.
