SPbPU to Open Information Center in Madrid

Spanish school leavers will learn more about studying in Russia.

The Information Center of Peter the Great Saint-Petersburg Polytechnic University will be operating on the basis of the Spanish public foundation ‘Alexander Pushkin’, which deals with popularization of Russian language and culture in Spain. The grand opening of the SPbPU Information Center will be held at 15 Albuquerque Street on April 19, at 18:00.

At the center SPbPU specialists will consult Spanish school-leavers about entrance the university, provide information about educational programmes of SPbPU, its achievements in scientific areas, and about student life in St. Petersburg in common. Also the school-leavers will have the opportunity to apply for Master’s degree programmes, enroll International Polytechnic Summer School or Russian language courses.

It is planned that for the opening of Information Center SPbPU representatives will sign a new cooperation agreement with some Spanish universities. Polytechnic University of Madrid (MPU) is among them. On April. 19 in the hall of the UPM rectorate there will be opened an exhibition of Peter the Great Saint-Petersburg Polytechnic University's student art-works. The exhibition has the best works of the graduates in such areas as information design, industrial design, scientific design, graphic arts, etc.
