On May 25, Russia resumed flights with Mexico, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Iceland and Malta *. Students from these countries can now also return to Russia. From June 2, air traffic with Great Britain resumed as well.

At the moment, the Russian Federation border can be crossed by citizens of Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Great Britain, Venezuela, Vietnam, Germany, Greece, Egypt, India, Iceland, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Kyrgyzstan, Cuba, Maldives, Malta, Mexico, United Arab Emirates, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Serbia, Singapore, Syria, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Finland, Switzerland, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, South Korea, South Ossetia and Japan. June 10, flights with several other countries are expected to resume.

Russian universities are exсited for international students to come back and currently preparing for the 2021/2022 academic year. Since March 2021, students from epidemiologically safe countries are allowed to enter the Russian Federation **. Be sure to learn about the entry procedure and clarify all the details on accommodation and studies with representatives of your university.
