Studying + Petersburg = LETI Winter Schools

Eighty-five students from 24 countries completed short English-taught programmes.

Winter schools were available in six fields this year: Laser and Optical Measurements, Biomedical Engineering, Communication in Business, Renewable Energy, Industrial Software Engineering for Robotics and Internet of Things, and Russian Culture in the Russian Language. For two weeks, students attended lectures and master classes, developed business strategies and learnt programming and structural analysis of materials. In their spare time, they went on a general sightseeing tour of St Petersburg and its suburbs and visited the world famous Hermitage Museum, the Faberge Museum, the Peter and Paul Fortress, radio inventor Alexander Popov’s museum apartment, the Tsarskoye Selo museum preserve and the medieval castle in Vyborg.
