University of Tyumen: New Master’s Programme in Economics and Finance

Graduates equipped with knowledge and skills learned from the Financial Economics programme can pursue careers at banks and insurance or consulting companies.

The programme is open to international prospective students having bachelor’s or specialist’s degree. To enrol in the programme, students have to pass entrance tests. Length of study is two years (full-time) and two years and six months (part-time). Language of instruction is Russian. Tuition fee for the first year of training is 112,250 roubles. The programme offers 25 government scholarships. The first group of students is expected to begin studies in September 2017.

The competences gained by master’s students include situation analysis, solutions for the university’s partner banks and oil companies and project development. The programme is taught by guest professors and experts from firms in the finance and economic sector. Students will have an opportunity to take courses at UT partner University of Lorraine (France) and receive a certificate upon their completion.
