Prospective Uzbek students will be able to take university entrance examinations in their homeland.

Entrance exams for Uzbek applicants seeking to enrol at Ural Federal University undergraduate or specialist’s degree programmes will run in the capital of Uzbekistan from 2 June till 6 June. The tests covering basic disciplines (Russian, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, history, social science, computer science, geography and foreign language) will be held in Tashkent (Olmazar district, University street, 2). Aside from Russian, which is an obligatory discipline, prospective students have to select two more subjects, depending on preferred field of study. The list of examinations for a given field of study and the admission score is available on the university website. To take the examinations, applicants have to register at the UrFU website and turn up at the venue at the appointed time. The date and time will be emailed to the applicant after the registration. Prospective Uzbek students can enter UrFU as contract students or get a government-funded place as compatriots if they can confirm this status.

Ural Federal University is located in Yekaterinburg. It offers more than 400 education programmes in different fields, from applied mathematics and computer science to linguistics and regional studies.
