International Students Dormitories

Is there a dormitory for international students at the university? Foreign students of the preparatory department, who only recently arrived in TPU, live separately, in the hostel No. 19. The staff of the University help them to adapt and accompany them. Foreigners enrolled in educational programs in scientific and educational institutions live in other hostels together with Russian students. All TPU hostels have undergone global sanitation; a new residential building has recently been put into operation.
Is the dormitory far from academic buildings? Dormitories are within walking distance from almost all educational buildings.
How many people live in one room? Each student is provided with a minimum of 6 square meters of living space.
Where are the facilities situated (shower, WC)? Each four-room section has 1 shower, 1 toilet, 2 sinks.
Where is the kitchen situated? Is it equipped with home appliances and utensils There are 2 blocks on the floor. Each block has a kitchen. There are 2 cookers, dining and working areas, a sink.
What does university provide for students when they move in? Upon arrival, students receive a mattress, a pillow, a bedspread, a set of linen (changed every 7 days), a bed, a bedside table, a table, a chair, a cupboard, bookshelves, shelves for shoes, household appliances (refrigerator, microwave, kettle - on request, for an additional fee).
Is there Wi-Fi at the dormitory? There is a wired and wireless Internet in the hostel. It costs 350 rubles per month.
Does the dorm building have additional facilities? Each floor has a free laundry room, a drying room, a lounge for relaxation, 2 classrooms. There is a dining room, a gym, an assembly hall on the ground floor.
What is the monthly fee for dormitory? The cost of living is 801 rubles per month (without rented equipment). There are  rooms of higher comfort (with household appliances). They cost 1041 rubles a month.
