Britain’s Times Higher Education listed the world’s best universities for teaching.

Lower faculty-student ratio contributes to more effective study. The importance of this indicator is obvious, so Times Higher Education annually ranks universities with the best student-to-staff ratio. In 2020, THE highlighted 100 universities from 22 countries under the teaching category. Russia was represented by eight higher education centres, up one from 2019. Novosibirsk State University held on to 48th place for the second year, Lobachevsky University advanced one slot to 85th position and I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University is 98th; it was not ranked in 2019.

The study is based on THE gobal academic reputation rankings. Top Universities with the Best Student-to-Staff Ratio Rankings aim to help prospective students choose the university providing the most effective instruction thanks to better contact with teachers.
