Best portfolios earn graduate admissions preferences.

In 2018 academic year, international applicants seeking to enrol in Masters programmes at Far Eastern Federal University do not have to travel to Vladivostok to take entrance examinations. Instead, they can take part in a portfolio contest; candidates are requested to email all documents confirming their achievements: specialised contest/Olympiad winner certificates, scientific articles, projects, supervisor’s and reviewer’s references and a motivation letter. The portfolio content depends on the chosen field of study; visit the university website for details. Applicants are also required to show a copy of their university degree certificate. Documents in Russian or English (depending on the language of instruction) are submitted from 9 July till 24 August 2018. Sign into the website to send your enquiries to Far Eastern Federal University personnel now.

The university offers programmes both in Russian and English. English-taught majors include Offshore and Coastal Engineering (School of Engineering), Russia in the Asia-Pacific: Economics, Politics, Security (Institute of Oriental Studies), Project Management and Hospitality Management (School of Economics and Management) and Russian business and investment law (School of Law).
