HSE entrance exams to run in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan

Bachelor’s and specialist degree applicants are welcome.

Prospective students from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan do not have to travel to Russia to enrol at Higher School of Economics. They can take HSE entrance examinations in their homeland. In Kyrgyzstan, university’s admissions board will work on 28, 29 June 2018 in two cities: Bishkek (Atay Ogonbaev street, 207, school №4) and Osh (Masaliev street, 48, Makarenko school №6). In Kazakhstan, they will be held on 2, 3 July 2018 in Almaty (Bostandyk district, Buhar Zhyrau boulevard, 36, Republican School of Physics and Mathematics). The tests cover basic disciplines: Russian language, mathematics, history and English language. Creative task are required for such majors as Journalism, Media Communications, Design and Design and Fashion. The list of examinations, admission score and timetable are on the HSE website. To take part, applicants have to register here (for Kyrgyz citizens) and here (for Kazakh citizens). 

Higher School of Economics is a modern university which already has the reputation of a prestigious Russian higher education centre. In 2018/2019 it offers more than forty undergraduate/specialist degree programmes in different fields of study: economics, management, international relations, sociology, physics, mathematics, information technology etc. Some of the programmes are English-taught and double-degree. They are implemented in partnership with foreign universities such as South Korea’s Kyung Hee University and University of London.
