HSE Olympiad for CIS Students

Registration for the academic competition is open till 4 March 2019.  

Higher School of Economics, a prestigious Russian university, will hold an Olympiad on 15-17 March. Russian-speaking bachelor’s or specialist degree students/holders from international universities wishing to enrol in HSE graduate programmes are welcome. Competitions are held in 37 engineering and humanities fields such as mathematics, urban development, electronics and nanotechnology, economics, management, business informatics, Asian and African studies, media communications, game theory etc. Every field is divided into several tracks; a candidate can select only one track. It is an onsite Olympiad which will be held n Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Moldova and Belarus. The list of venues will be published on the HSE website; it also offers training materials (references, routine problems, previous year solutions). Register on the university website to take part in the Olympiad. The winners who apply for HSE masters programmes have an advantage.

Higher School of Economics is located in Moscow and has branches in St Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Perm. It is one of the most modern universities in Russia; 165 masters programmes in different fields are available to foreign nationals.
