Students from nine countries studied Russian and explored Russian culture and traditions for two months.

IKBFU Russian language school drew young people from Germany, Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, Japan, Pakistan, Argentina, India and Turkey. The intensive course was focused on spoken Russian. Learners had much practice in class, sang songs, saw Russian films and cartoons and discussed them. At the end of the course, students took an exit examination and received certificates. The teachers of IKBFU believe that everybody did very well.

School organisers prepared a large cultural programme. Foreigners toured maritime towns in the Kaliningrad area, took a stroll along a Baltic Sea beach and visited the Curonian Spit National Park and several Kaliningrad museums. They also attended a festival of short films and jazz and took part in master classes in sewing rag dolls. Students praised the school noting teachers’ professionalism and a pleasant city atmosphere.
