MEPhI International Olympiad: Hurry to Apply in Time

Registration for the academic competition is open till 31 December 2018.

National Research Nuclear University MEPhI will hold the Rosatom Olympiad in physics and mathematics for schoolchildren in 7th to 11th grades proficient in Russian. Participants can choose one or both subjects. Register on the MEPhI website till 31 December 2018 to take part in the preliminary round. You have three hours to solve problems online and just one attempt. In Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, Rosatom contestants can opt for onsite tryouts in Dushanbe (28 Mirzo Tursunzade Str.) and Tashkent (4 Universitetskaya Str.) on 8 - 9 December. Tryouts results will be published by 31 January 2019. The finals will be held in towns across Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States in February – March. The MEPhI website will post a list of venues. It will also offer study materials such as video lessons, practice tests and past problems and solutions. Medal places give MEPhI applicants such incentives as 100 points in the career-oriented subject or admission to the university without entrance tests.
