MIPT Online Summer School: Applications Open

Classes will be held online from 10 August to 20 August 2020.

Every autumn, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology hosts the “Phystech.International” Olympiad for high schoolers from former Soviet republics and other countries. The Olympiad winners who apply to MIPT are entitled to incentives. Olympiad problems are quite difficult; you have to train hard to be able to cope with them. One of the options is to take part in MIPT Phystech.International summer school. The programme includes education courses in physics, mathematics, chemistry and biology led by best teachers of the university’s higher mathematics and general physics departments. The school’s objective is to prepare schoolchildren for engineering olympiads and examinations. Two fields are available: chemistry and biology and physics and mathematics.

To become a school participant, get registered, pass the tests and upload your portfolio. The top scorers will get an invitation. Tuition fee: 8,000 to 12,000 rubles depending on test results and portfolio composition. Seminars and lectures will be held online every day; school participants can communicate with teachers and ask them questions. Students get course completion certificates which give MIPT applicants an advantage.
