New Master's program "Data Science" launched at Petrozavodsk State University

A new master's program "Data Science" launched at the Institute of Mathematics and Information Technology (Petrozavodsk State University). The program is designed for highly sought-after artificial intelligence specialists in the field of data analysis (Data Science).

Data scientist processes and analyzes large amounts of data using machine learning, finds new connections and patterns in the data to predict events.

During the study, students will learn mathematical methods of modeling and forecasting, methods of extracting knowledge from data, modern tools for analyzing digital signals, images, speech and language, tools for developing intelligent systems.
