RUDN Will Train Specialists for the Oil Industry
A Master’s programme in Petroleum Engineering will be open to international students.
People’s Friendship University of Russia Engineering Academy has opened admission to its Petroleum Engineering programme starting in September 2017. Since it will be taught in Russian, international students are first invited to take a foundation year at RUDN.
The programme is jointly administered with Ufa State Petroleum Technological University and Transneft, one of the world’s largest oil pipeline operators. It offers six specializations, including Pipeline Transportation of Hydrocarbons, Reliability and Safety of Oil Storage Facilities, Design and Reconstruction of Trunk Oil and Product Pipelines.
Students will discover the details of managing oil and gas transportation systems, pipeline operations and emergency management, etc. They will acquire both theoretical and practical knowledge as the course entails industrial visits, research and development projects.
