Russian Universities: Apply Before It Is Too Late

Enrollment campaigns are in full swing at Russian universities.

If you are planning to study at a Russian university but have not applied yet – make haste. Every institution sets its own application dates, so consult a respective admissions office. Some universities will accept applications from foreign students until October. Get in touch with university representatives – they will know the deadlines for applicants from your country.

Rossotrudnichestvo (Federal Agency for CIS Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation) grant program is over for this year, but there is a slim chance that some university grants have not been awarded yet. To check that, please contact the International Office of your desired university (contacts can be found here). Our search function can help you find an education program or university of your choice.

Your next step is to collect all documents required for the initial application: these usually include notarized translations of ID and academic credentials. You will need originals and certain certificates at the next stage, when you come to a Russian university. Learn more about required documents here.

Good luck to all the applicants!
