SUSU Opens Applications for Masters Programme in Journalism

Documents for a new English medium programme can be submitted till 16 August.

The English-taught masters programme in Media Communications, designed by South Ural State University Department of Journalism and Mass Communication jointly with the International Office and the European Journalism Training Association, aims to train universal media specialists. Students will learn to write various types of media texts and create interactive content, master modern information technologies and acquire such competences as handling large volumes of information, developing presentations, working with advertisers etc. The university has its own media holding that includes SUSU-TV and SUSU Radio. International students will be able to practice in real life situations and take part in creating broadcasts in English. Master's students will also have the opportunity to obtain additional qualifications or a second specialty, such as “translator in the field of professional communications" and take an internship abroad under the academic mobility programme.

Tuition fee:150,000 rubles ($2,380) a year. To apply, please create a personal account and write to SUSU indicating the name of the programme "Media Communications."
