Tomsk Polytechnic University will host the international Olympiad Your First Success for the fifth time. It targets international applicants who want to complete pre-university training before enrolling in Russian-taught undergraduate or graduate programmes. To take part in the academic competition, applicants have to register and solve the problems by 20 April 2020. Three fields are available: engineering sciences (physics, mechanical engineering, oil and gasfield development, materials science etc), natural sciences (chemistry and biotechnology), IT technology (applied mathematics and information science, software engineering etc). Languages of Olympiad: English, Chinese and Vietnamese. The top scorers who get at least 70 points are eligible for a 50 percent foundation programme fee discount.

National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University is a well-known Russian engineering university currently providing training to more than 3,000 students from 53 countries.
