TPU Olympiad for Prospective International Students

Winners are entitled to a foundation programme discount.

Tomsk Polytechnic University is holding an International Olympiad in Physics and Mathematics. International students who wish to take TPU foundation programmes to prepare for undergraduate studies in Russian are welcome. The Olympiad languages are English, Chinese and Vietnamese. The test comprises 17 physics and math problems. Sign here to get the link to Olympiad problems. You have to solve them online by 30 April, 2019. Top scorers are eligible to a 50 percent foundation programme discount.

National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University is a leading Russian higher education centre which trains engineers in various fields. It has many Russian medium programmes and its Preparatory Department offers international students an advantageous opportunity to develop enough Russian proficiency to be able to study on Russian-taught programmes and prepare for entrance examinations in field-specific discliplines. After finishing the Preparatory Department, the students have the finals, get a state certificate and can apply for bachelor’s studies. The university offers 30 programmes in engineering fields.
