When can prospective international students apply?
Applications are open all year round. Documents can be submitted to the university’s Admissions Board starting 20 June, 2019. Create a personal account and write to the university to learn about the admission rules. University representatives will reply to you within ten workdays.
What documents do foreign nationals have to submit for undergraduate/graduate studies?
An applicant has to submit the following documents to the Admissions Board:

Russian language proficiency certificate (when applying for a Russian-taught programme).

Medical examination results include immunisation record, the opinions of psychiatrist and addiction psychiatrist, photofluorography examination, HIV test. All documents have to be translated into Russian and notarised.
What programmes in English are available at Samara University?
One undergraduate programme “Designing of Powerplants and Energy Systems of Aircrafts” and seven graduate programmes including “Optical Microsystems and Nanotechnologies,” “GNSS receivers. Hardware and Software” and “High-Technology Business Management.”
Do I have to take an English examination for English medium programmes?
You do not have to take the English exam; admission depends on interview results. English proficiency certificates are not required either.
Can I take entrance examinations online?
Applicants take examinations for bachelor’s and specialist studies at the university. The interview for master’s studies can be taken online.
How much are tuition fees?
Tuition fees for an undergraduate and specialist programmes range from 123,500 rubles to 280,000 rubles ($1,900 - $4,300) a year, graduate programme fees from 137,200 to 280,000 rubles ($2,110 to $4,300) a year and foundation programme fees amount to 120,000 rubles ($1,850) a year.
