Participate in "Russian Culture - 2022", an Olympiad in Russian as a foreign language!

Tomsk State University’s Department of pre-university training announces the beginning of II Olympiad in Russian as a foreign language, dedicated to the culture of Russia and Siberia.

Who can participate?

The following groups of foreign citizens may take part in the Olympiad:

- students of preparatory faculties / departments of Russian universities;

- students of Russian and foreign universities studying Russian as a foreign language.

The Olympiad is held in the remote format, with the use of distance learning technologies. The working language of the Olympiad is Russian. Participation is completely free of charge.

Participants will be divided into two categories, according to their level of Russian:

- students who speak Russian at the A2+ level, and

- students who speak Russian at the B1+ level.

Stage 1 of the Olympiad is held from April 25 to April 28, 2022.

At this stage students will do online tests in the vocabulary and grammar of the Russian language, do tasks in reading and listening. The time for completing them will be limited.

Stage 2 is held from April 29 to May 4, 2022.

Students are going to record and dub a video in Russian to the suggested topic.

At the end of the Olympiad, all participants will receive certificates. The winners and runners-up will also get memorable prizes and gifts.
