My name is Melissa Vazquez, I am from Ecuador. I am currently studying in Russia at the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University in Kaliningrad. I am studying in the third year of the specialty "General Medicine". Training is carried out in Russian. 

I learned about this university from the Russian Embassy in Ecuador, as well as from a friend who told me about the benefits of studying in Kaliningrad, and that IKBFU has a federal status and provides an excellent education. Before applying and taking the university entrance exams I came to Kaliningrad and from the first day I really liked this city. My first impression was that there is wonderful architecture and culture here. The first days of adaptation were not very difficult, because there were always kind people around who helped me. I consider the city of Svetlogorsk as my favorite place, there live kind and cheerful people, its sightseeings are also beautiful and interesting. 

What I like most at the university is the medical simulation center, its infrastructure and equipment, as it has everything that is necessary for the acquisition and improvement of professional skills. After graduation, I plan to return to my homeland, having mastered the specialty.
