We spent unforgettable days in Nizhny Novgorod

During the summer of 2014, 11 students of Sichuan University took part in the summer school of Lobachevsky University of Nizhny Novgorod. We spent unforgettable days in such a beautiful and historic city.

From Monday to Wednesday we had classes of Russian language and cultural studies. We read texts on different topics and discussed them. In my group there were students from other countries. In the Conversational Club I also met foreign students of UNN.

The university organised a variety of activities for us, and we were sincerely grateful for it. Trips to the Kremlin Museum, "Schelkovsky Khutor," Gorodets, Suzdal, and a river cruise on the Volga River were impressive. Russia is really a beautiful country; the scenery here is fabulous, like a picture.

We were satisfied with conditions in the dormitory. There were many shops and supermarkets around, which was very convenient.

Back in China we have very little language practice, so if we have a chance to visit Russia again we will gladly take that opportunity.
