More than 300 participants gathered at X All-Russian Congress of Foreign Students Association

The 10th All-Russian Congress of the Foreign Students Association in Russia was held in RUDN University. More than 300 students, postgraduate students, and medical residents from 62 world countries took part in it. The participants discussed the development of youth diplomacy in the international student environment, and improving the effectiveness of foreign students’ social adaptation in Russia.

Three masterclasses were organized by RUDN University’s professionals:

-     “PR support of student activity”,

-     “Event: from idea to project concept”, and

-     "How to resist manipulation and fakes".

Vladimir Filippov, President of RUDN University, commented that the Congress, which brings together the leaders of foreign students in Russia, solves many problems of higher education. He also informed that the participants drafted a list of recommendations, that could be useful to representatives of the executive and legislative authorities of the Russian Federation.

The Foreign Students Association in Russia was established following the initiative of students who came to study in the Russian Federation from other countries. The association’s goal is to help solve issues arising in connection with their education, life, recreation, leisure activities, medical care, legal and social protection.
