Youth Forum brought together politicians and entrepreneurs from Russia and Africa

The Russia-Africa Youth Public Forum has started in Moscow, bringing together more than 100 representatives of youth public organizations, young politicians and entrepreneurs from the Russian Federation and 28 countries of the African continent. The event was organized with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, Rosmolodezh, the National Council of Youth and Children's Associations of Russia, the World Association of Graduates of Higher Educational Institutions and the Russian Technological University MIREA.

The work of the forum will be held in three areas: "Education, Science and Technology", "Youth Entrepreneurship and Startups", "Youth Leadership and Civic Activism of Youth". At round tables and master classes, participants will engage in joint projects, and based on their results, they will make proposals for the development of youth cooperation. But the main value of the forum is building long-term partnerships and professional ties between Russian and African youth.

“Much attention is paid to international youth cooperation in Russia, because it is the youth that is the basis for laying down international relations for many years to come. This forum will become a launching pad for the further implementation of projects and the continuation of cooperation that has been built up between Russia and African countries for many years. We will try to assist in their further implementation to all the initiatives that will be presented within the framework of the forum,” said Grigory Gurov, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, in his welcoming speech to the forum participants.

The forum program also includes meetings and discussions with invited experts: public figures, politicians, representatives of the scientific community, and the business community. Participants will visit relevant departments, government agencies and public organizations.
