Take part in the International Student Olympiad in Philosophy!

The Olympiad is organized by Lomonosov Moscow State University, and Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University (IKBFU).

The competition has two stages. The first stage (the selection round) will be held online on September 6, 2022 from 12:00 to 15:00 by Moscow time. The winners of the selection round move on to the second stage, which will be held on November 22-23, 2022 in Kaliningrad, on the premises of IKBFU.

The subjects of the Olympiad are:

• contemporary neurophilosophy, and the problem of artificial intelligence

• critical thinking, logic, and the theory of reasoning

• ethics in the era of digital reality

• philosophical anthropology

• Russian philosophy, and intellectual culture

• boundaries of the interaction between philosophy and theology: history and modernity.

Participation in the Olympiad is free. The costs of the flight, accommodation, and meals will be fully covered by the Olympiad organizers for the participants of the second stage.

The application may be submitted at the official website of the Olympiad until September 5.
