Smart Cities and Urban Studies
PROGRAM RELEVANCE
With the rapid growth of the urban population, the importance of urban studies as an independent field of knowledge is also increasing. More and more people in Russia start thinking about how to improve the quality of the urban environment and the effectiveness of managerial decisions. The rapid development of computer technology allows us to facilitate urban development processes, as well as make our cities more sustainable and comfortable to live in. This sets new standards for people involved in urban planning.
Developed at ITMO University’s Institute of Design and Urban Studies, this educational program is aimed at training highly-qualified specialists ready to face the challenges posed by globalization.

Game Development Technologies
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The program focuses on the advanced technologies of game development, whilst also covering the key theoretical and practical aspects of the video game industry, from psychological aspects of games to team management and releasing one's own product.
The students can choose one of the two specializations: Game Design and In-Game Technologies.

Mobile and Networking Technologies
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This corporate Master's program is aimed at training highly qualified specialists who are capable of coming up with new competitive ideas and working as part of a team and have expert knowledge of technologies for development of mobile and web applications, good creative skills and skills in conducting research in the field of developing methods for solving unconventional tasks, as well as new methods for solving standard tasks and forecasting the development of mobile and network technologies.

Business Information Systems

Outcome (diploma or credits): Master of Science in Applied Informatics (ITMO University), Master of Science in Business Informatics (University of Rostock)
Duration: 2 years, 120 credits

Admission Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Applied Informatics and/or Computer Science or relevant fields with good and excellent grades. For admission to the partner university, IELTS or TOEFL may be required

- is focused on preparing students for solving professional problems in analyzing and modeling of business and applied processes, designing the architecture of socio-cyberphysical systems, analyzing the possibilities of using information systems, intellectual technologies and knowledge management for improving applied processes, creating and developing components of information systems and enterprise architecture elements.

The implementation of enterprise-level information systems requires an integrated approach to analyzing business and applied processes, justifying the choice of technological platforms and configurations, design solutions developing and information processes organizing.
