Transport Universities Supported IrGUPS' Initiative for a Unified Engineering Training Plan

The All-Russian Scientific and Methodological Conference took place at Irkutsk State Transport University (IrGUPS), where participants endorsed the initiative to create a unified curriculum for engineering education. The new model outlines a common core curriculum for all engineering majors, along with a flexible engineering core featuring tracks categorized by fields such as mechanical, energy and civil engineering.

One of the key topics discussed in the meeting was the establishment of mirror carbon polygon programs in both Brazil and Republika Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina). The main event at the end of the meeting was the signing of a memorandum outlining plans to establish a mirror carbon polygon. This initiative is a collaboration between the Federal Scientific Center of Agroecology at the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Forestry Agency of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Azerbaijan.

More than 53 thousand textbooks on geography, physics, chemistry, geometry were purchased by Rossotrudnichestvo on the initiative of the Federation Council of Russia. Requests from educational institutions with Russian classes across the country were collected by employees of the Russian House in Yerevan.
