• Law and Social Theory
  The programme is oriented towards the training of qualified specialists with the skill level adequate for the requirements of the Russian Federation market economy who have necessary knowledge for the law and order regulation and protection, for ensuring the economic safety of the enterprises of any ownership type. The uniqueness of this education programme of Peter the Great SPbPU consists in the legal education and training of the bachelors in-demand for the public institutions oriented towards the modernization of domestic industry and the development of international organisational legal contacts. Training involves examination of the theory of the State and the Law, civil law, international law, criminal law, crime detection, land law, tax law and other disciplines necessary for the further successful professional activity. On completing training the graduates can start their career in various organizations: the city Prosecutor's office of and district Prosecutor's offices in St. Petersburg; Investigation Department of St. Petersburg; St. Petersburg Internal Affairs Department; Federal Bailiff Service Office; legal aid bureaus; notary offices; law firms; municipalities.
