Upon completion of their Ph.D. program, graduates will be able to work in the following fields: economic theory, macroeconomic management, regulation and planning, economics and business administration, industries, management, marketing, logistics, innovation management, finance, monetary circulation and credit, accounting, statistics, mathematical and instrumental methods of economics, the global economics and economics entrepreneurship.

The graduates will have an understanding of conceptual (fundamental) problems of economic science, including methods of economic analysis; applied problems in the functioning of various economic agents, markets and systems.

The types of  professional activity are: research activities in the field of economics - basic researches in the field of economics and finance; study of national and world financial systems; finance business entities; securities market and the foreign exchange market; insurance market; money market, the monetary system and circulation; valuation; credit relations, banks and other financial institutions; identification, analysis and solving of problems of innovative development of the national economy, management of the main parameters of innovation processes in the modern economy; studies that reveal the sources and mechanisms of firms competitive advantages in today's market; teaching activities - teaching economic disciplines and educational and methodical work on areas of professional activity.
