This course aims to provide you with the knowledge of the history of design and art, the basics of composition, colour studies and colouristics, modelling and quilling. A significant portion of the classes is devoted to mastering academic drawing and painting. You will also master the skill of creating quick sketches.
The skills you will obtain during the course of studies will allow you to create preliminary sketches, design creative objects and artistic images, understand the graphic and colour forms and develop an understanding of project requirements. You will also learn how to execute a design project, such as creating a trademark, a corporate identity logo, advertising products, social advertisement, brand books, project graphics etc.
Taking this course involves mastering the following professional computer programs: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Autodesk 3ds Max. Students will gain skills in web design, video graphics and video editing.
Typography also plays a big part in this course. During the course of studies, you will learn how to create book, newspaper and magazine layouts as well as how to compose a strip and a publication as a whole
