Pharmaceutical Management and Economics. Retraining

A retraining program for heads of pharmaceutical organizations, deputy heads and heads of departments of pharmaceutical organizations.

Formed competences:

• Ability and willingness to find and make responsible management decisions whilst presented with a variety of different views and within their professional competence as a pharmacist.
• Ability and willingness to use knowledge of the organizational structure, managerial and economic activities of the pharmaceutical companies to provide various types of pharmaceutical care to the population, analyze the performance of their departments, to assess the effectiveness of modern organizational, socio-economic and logistical technologies in the provision of pharmaceutical services to the population.
• Improving knowledge of regulatory and legislative acts on the protection of public health that regulate pharmaceutical activities, laws and principles of the market economy; methodological foundations of management and marketing, systems of health management and pharmacy services; organizational and legal forms of ownership of pharmaceutical organizations, the procedure for their establishment; licensing and accreditation of pharmaceutical organizations and pharmaceutical activities; methods and principles of providing pharmaceutical care in the Russian Federation.
• Knowledge of management methods of pharmaceutical organizations and personnel in contemporary conditions; in financial and economic activity.
• Ability to analyze the results of economic and financial activities, accounting and reporting of pharmaceutical companies.
• Ability to analyze patterns of functioning of the pharmaceutical market in contemporary conditions.
• Ability to use the legal framework for the implementation of pricing policies on pharmaceuticals and medical products, included in the list of essential drugs.
