Philosophy and History of Religion

This program takes a new interdisciplinary approach to the study of religion and differs from those offered at other Russian universities. The goal of this program is to build a scientific understanding of the sociocultural root of religious discourses and practices in contemporary culture. The program includes Master’s students in the education process and actively encourages them to work on research projects. Graduates go on to work at research and education centers, in media, for social and religious organizations, and for government instructions.
