Goals of the Program

To prepare highly skilled bachelors in the field of software development for enterprises of high-tech branches of the industry. The educational program is aimed at training highly skilled bachelors in the field of software of systems and technologies of various physical natures for staffing enterprises of the nuclear industry and other high-tech branches of the Russian science and industry.

Area of professional activity

The area of professional activity of bachelors includes organizations of various forms of ownership, the industry and the business, carrying-out development and use of information systems, scientific achievements, products and services in the field of applied mathematics and informatics.

Brief description of the curriculum

The curriculum of the program contains the intense training on disciplines of a physical and mathematical cycle and disciplines on studying of the principles of simulation of processes proceeding in nuclear, power, and dynamic systems; and also on the disciplines devoted to studying of methods for developing systems of automated control, management and information processing, database systems, and large program complexes.

Modules

1. Humanitarian module. Within each module of the discipline, allowing the development of cultural competence in particular, graduate who have completed the bachelor degree program must have the ability to use the basics of philosophical knowledge for the formation of ideological position ; to be able to analyze the main stages and regularities of historical development of society for the formation of the civil position, ability to use basic economic knowledge in various fields, to use the basics of legal knowledge in various fields, have the ability to communicate in oral and written forms in Russian and foreign languages.

2. Natural science module. Within each module of the discipline, allowing students to form a competence., based on the knowledge of the main trends in the development of scientific knowledge. The student should be able to use modern mathematical methods and modern software tools, to be able to master the modern technologies of programming, have the ability to use basic knowledge of natural Sciences, mathematics, physics and Informatics, to know the basic facts, concepts, principles, theories related to applied mathematics and computer science.

3. General professional module. Within each module of the discipline, allowing students to form общепрофессиональпрофессиональные competence. In particular the student should be able to use standard packages of applied programs for solving practical problems on electronic computers, debug, test software applications support , the ability and willingness to demonstrate knowledge of modern programming languages, operating systems, office applications, information-telecommunication network "Internet" .The student should know the modern numerical methods of solving complex computational tasks.

4. Professional module. Within each module of the discipline, allowing the development of cultural competence in particular, graduate who have completed the bachelor degree program must have the following skills :

- the ability and willingness to configure, test, and validate computing equipment and software;

- the ability and willingness to demonstrate knowledge of modern programming languages, operating systems, office applications, methods and mechanisms of data management;

-willingness to apply mathematical formalism to solve problems, the ability;

apply appropriate process mathematical model and check its adequacy, to carry out the analysis of simulation results, to make a decision on the basis of the obtained results.

The base of industrial and/or scientific practice and employment

Graduates can carry out the professional activity at research institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, nuclear and other high-tech industries.

Practice 1) Practical work on a computer (the distributed educational practice is carried out for two weeks of theoretical training in semesters 1, 2, 3, and 4).

2) Production (4 weeks, from June 29 to July 26 for bachelors of the 3rd course).

3) Predegree (2 weeks, from May 4 to July 17 for bachelors of the 4th course)
