The course is aimed at understanding complex texts both on concrete and abstract topics, speaking fluently with native speakers, reading articles and reports on up-to-date issues in which the author presents his or her points of view. Students of Upper-Intermediate level will be able to safely enter any conversation providing sufficient interaction with native speakers.
Graduates of the course express their thoughts on specific topics clearly and in detail. They identify advantages and disadvantages of an action or an event and can develop their opinion about a certain thing.
As for the writing skills, graduates will have no difficulty writing an essay on the read literature or article, providing their reasoned opinion for or against the main topic.
