The programme offers training qualified natural science specialists with profound knowledge on environmental conditions in Siberia and the Arctic and ability to apply new methods to environmental studies.

The target audience of the group is graduates of natural science programmes by Russian universities and graduates of foreign universities with the Russian and English languages proficiency of B2 or higher. 

Programme contents

Students perform their research in well-equipped laboratories and "BioClimLand" research centre, including their field research in landscape and ecology, live and laboratory experiments, laboratory and analytical work. 

The programme is supported by renowned scientists including advising the research of students.

Our alumni have knowledge about world environmental and research trends for Arctic and subarctic regions. The programme plan includes multidisciplinary courses designed to combine practical and fundamental knowledge in landscape ecology, physics, and chemistry ensures training of specialists equipped with cutting-edge research methods at the intersection of sciences.

Career

The fundamental knowledge and practical skills obtained by students helps them work in research institutions and environmental services. 

The programme provides students with great professional skills to continue their studies as PhD-students.
