The aim of the program is to train highly qualified specialists with in-depth training in programming, information processes, applied mathematical modelling and information protection for work in companies and institutions with a developed computer network where they can use their knowledge to ensure security and reliable operation of computer systems. A distinctive feature of the program is that students study in depth the mathematical theory of computer security and number-theoretic approaches to information security. The mathematical basis is a necessary element of any serious information security system.
Graduates have all the necessary knowledge required in to solve various professional functions, including the application of science-based technologies, providing security of complex software products and databases, employing in their work information coding methods.
The area of professional activity of graduates who have finished the master's program:
- development of algorithms and complexes to ensure the security of software systems;
- information coding;
- administering local computing systems and writing security policies;
- search for vulnerabilities and security testing of software systems.
