This program is unique with its deep focus on experimental methods and modern equipment for research and diagnosis of materials including their content, structure and physical and chemical properties. Students study the regularities of processes for obtaining new materials with outstanding properties, such as nanomaterials, superhard and high-temperature materials, adamants and ceramics, composites, and new types of metal alloys.
Our graduates are well familliar with the main types of modern structural and functional materials. They have full command of methods and means of testing and diagnostics, research and quality control. The fact that our graduates know all types of modern research and testing equipment allows them to creatively solve almost any scientific and technical problems in the field of materials science. It provides them with a successful career in scientific and industrial organizations, as well as allows them to contitnue their studies in the master's program of the most prestigious universities in Russia and the world.
