I am studying satellite navigation systems and astrodynamics at Colorado University. During the Summer Space School in Samara State University, I got acquainted with the area of space industry which was new for me as I had never studied that before. I usually work with large spacecrafts, but here we studied nanosatellites, and it was very interesting to have a go at developing a spacecraft project of this type in such a short time interval.
I must say that SSAU has very competent employees and hospitable and friendly students. We were shown around Samara. This is a beautiful city on the Volga, with a gorgeous quay and great architecture. We saw the launch of rocket Soyuz, which was impressive. One day I will definitely attend a rocket launch!
