Admission Conditions for International Students

To continue studying math in Russia at Master's programme you have to have a Bachelor’s degree, a Specialist’s degree or an equivalent education certificate. A Russian visa is issued for the whole education period. Learn more about Russian migration legislation here.

The education programmes are available in English and in Russian. When applying, sometimes you have to specify your level of knowledge in these languages and attach the relevant certificates (IELTS or TOEFL certificates – for the English programmes). Not all universities require certificates, the conditions for admission need to be clarified.

Preparation for Entrance Exams

To integrate successfully into Russian educational system, enhance your language skills and learn more about the entrance exam structure, you can register for the Intensive Preparatory Course for the Master’s Programme (the preparatory course takes from 16 weeks to 3 semesters, depending on the university, programme and intensity of studies). The classes are often given by the tests developers, that boosts your chances for successful admission.
