06 May 2016 3 Russian Universities Are in the Top-100 of the World’s Most Prestigious Universities @ MIPT

The rankings took into account the view of professors from 133 countries.

World Reputation Rankings of the universities have been published for five years. Annually, the British magazine Times Higher Education is conducting a survey of experts in the field of education – they are ranking the universities of the world according to several criteria.

In 2016, more than 10,000 scientists participated in the survey. Each academic was asked to name up to 15 universities that they believe are the best for research and teaching in their discipline.

According to the results, there are 3 Russian universities at the ranking: Moscow State University is at the 30th place, St. Petersburg State University is in the group of 81-90, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology is in the group of 91-100.

The first 2 universities are not the newcomers, but MIPT was listed among the most prestigious universities of the world for the first time. MIPT’s representatives believe that this is the result of the active university engagement with the international scientific community.
