The universities will implement student exchange programmes and conduct joint research

Far Eastern Federal University officials signed memoranda of understanding with colleagues from Seoul National University (South Korea) and Kyoto University of Foreign Studies (Japan). The meeting took place on the sidelines of the NAFSA world education forum in the USA. The universities plan to launch student exchange, invite teachers from partner universities, conduct joint research, hold conferences etc.

FEFU and Seoul University also signed a five-year student exchange agreement opening four slots for exchange students per university each year.

FEFU currently collaborates with 37 Japanese universities and 38 South Korean universities. In addition to student exchange, they hold joint scientific and education forums and summer schools.
